Les Clefs d'Or, which means "Golden Keys" in French, is a system that certifies veteran concierges through rigorous screening and examinations by the World Concierge Association. The hotel explained that Deputy Manager Geum earned the honor of wearing the "Golden Keys badge," symbolizing the highest level of service recognized in luxury hotels worldwide. Currently, Deputy Manager Geum provides services beyond basic concierge duties, including managing travel itineraries for guests, offering guidance, and providing hotel information tailored to individual customer needs.
Deputy Manager Geum, the second person at Walkerhill to obtain Les Clefs d'Or, has been granted full membership in the association. Full members of Les Clefs d'Or are selected by the World Concierge Association's review panel through document screening, written exams, and interviews, targeting concierges with at least five years of hotel experience and three years of concierge experience. These members serve as experts delivering high-quality service to customers.
Founded in October 1929 in Paris, France by Pierre Quantin with the aim of "Service through Friendship," the World Concierge Association is a non-religious, non-political organization focused on building an international concierge network and fostering trusted service professionals for travelers worldwide. Approximately 4,000 members globally and 29 members domestically have earned the Les Clefs d'Or badge and are active as full members.
