France exempts COVID-19 testing for fully vaccinated travelers
[Asia Economy Reporter Jihwan Park] Travelers who have completed COVID-19 vaccination do not need to undergo separate testing upon entering France.
According to AFP on the 11th (local time), the French government announced in a statement that from the 12th, the COVID-19 testing requirement for travelers who have completed vaccination upon entry will be abolished.
The French government stated, "As before the spread of Omicron, travelers can enter France with a vaccination certificate regardless of the country of origin." It also added, "Unvaccinated travelers still need to test negative for COVID-19, but if they come from countries and regions included in the green list, measures such as testing and self-quarantine upon arrival will be lifted."

However, travelers arriving unvaccinated from countries on the orange list designated by the French government must undergo testing upon arrival. France classifies countries into green, orange, and red lists based on the COVID-19 spread situation in each country and applies entry restrictions accordingly. South Korea is included in the green list.
