According to various agencies on the 11th, Ji Seok-jin, Kim Junho, Kim Jong-kook, and Yang Se-chan tested positive for COVID-19 on the 10th and have entered self-quarantine. They have all completed their second dose of vaccination, and their symptoms are reported to be mild.
They are currently active in numerous variety shows on terrestrial, cable, and online platforms. As a result, disruptions to broadcasting schedules are inevitable. All of them canceled their planned schedules after testing positive and are staying at home.
Ji Seok-jin, Kim Jong-kook, and Yang Se-chan appear on SBS variety show "Running Man," but the next recording is scheduled for the 21st, so filming is not expected to be affected. Yang Se-chan, who tested positive after being classified as a close contact of Jeon Hyun-moo, missed the recording on the 7th. Previously, Yoo Jae-suk also tested positive.
The "Running Man" production team stated, "All members tested negative on rapid antigen tests (self-diagnosis kits), and according to quarantine authorities' guidelines, PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests were not conducted." The agencies of Yoo Jae-suk, Song Ji-hyo, and Jeon So-min also conveyed the same position.
Recently, broadcaster Yoon Taek, Hong Yun-hwa, actor couple Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung, and singer Tablo tested positive for COVID-19. SBS drama "Business Proposal" postponed its first broadcast by one week to the 28th due to a confirmed case among the production staff.
