People Power Party Public Office Committee to Hold 5th Meeting on the 10th and Make Decisions
[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] The People Power Party plans to nominate former Board of Audit and Inspection Chairman Choi Jae-hyung for Jongno, Seoul; former Seocho District Mayor Cho Eun-hee for Seocho District Gap, Seoul; and former lawmaker Jeong Woo-taek for Sangdang District, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province in the by-elections held on the same day as the March 9 presidential election.
The People Power Party's March 9 by-election nomination management committee announced on the evening of the 10th that it held its 5th meeting at the party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, and made this decision.
Former Chairman Choi was strategically nominated for Jongno, Seoul. Previously, the People Power Party had designated Jongno as a strategic nomination area.
