On the 10th, KCCI announced, "Instead of maintaining the existing Management Planning Headquarters, we have established a Planning and Coordination Headquarters to activate communication platforms, and decided to revive the Sustainability Management Office to lead communication with society. We also created a Communications Office that consolidates public relations and government affairs."
First, the Planning and Coordination Headquarters will operate communication platforms and be responsible for agenda discovery and fostering new entrepreneurship. The Sustainability Management Office will be reborn as an organization for commercializing national development projects, ESG management, and carbon neutrality implementation.
The Public Relations Office has been expanded and reorganized into the Communications Office. In addition to the existing Public Relations Team (PR), new External Cooperation Team (CR) and New Media Team have been established to integrate and unify external communication functions. The existing Management Planning Headquarters has been separated into the Management Support Office, handling functions such as human resources and accounting.
Internal organizational silos have also been reduced. Work units have been expanded from the existing 'teams' to 'offices' to lower barriers between departments and allow flexible organizational operation according to key issues. The Economic and Industrial Research Headquarters has been integrated, shifting from the previous 12-team system to a three-office system including the Economic Policy Office, Industrial Policy Office, and Regulatory Sandbox Office. The International Trade Headquarters will also consolidate four teams into the Ajou Trade Office and Gumi Trade Office.

Woo Tae-hee, Executive Vice Chairman of KCCI, said, "The purpose of this organizational restructuring is to strengthen the 'communication' capabilities that Chairman Choi has continuously emphasized since his inauguration. In the post-COVID era, we will redefine the role of companies and seek development plans toward a sustainably growing nation where all members are happy, based on opinions from all walks of life."
