According to GS Retail, more than 70% of About Pet's customers are from the MZ generation, with 38.1% in their 30s and 32% in their 20s. About Pet is a specialized mall offering comprehensive pet-related services such as pet care consultations, parenting content, and optimized product curation. It is analyzed that MZ generation customers, who are familiar with online consumption, have rapidly joined.
The preference for premium products was also prominent. In pet food products such as feed and snacks, 'human-grade' (products safe for human consumption) and non-GMO products recorded top sales, while in non-food products, eco-friendly items without synthetic fragrances or chemical ingredients showed strong sales. Sales of pet nutritional supplements increased by an astonishing 28 times compared to the initial launch.
About Pet is conducting a ‘Welcome 100-Won Coupon’ event, allowing first-time customers to purchase products worth over 5,000 won for just 100 won. Until the end of this month, it will also hold the ‘N Plus One’ event, selling about 100 products with promotions such as buy one get one free for all customers.
