Information on Designated Respiratory Treatment Medical Institutions, Open API Data Release

The Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service announced on the 8th that they will provide an open API for 'Respiratory Treatment Designated Medical Institution Information' through the Public Data Portal. Accordingly, private portal search companies and others can search for respiratory treatment designated medical institutions.
Respiratory treatment designated medical institutions are medical facilities that provide diagnosis and treatment related to COVID-19 to the public. Authorities announced that a total of 1,182 such institutions are currently operating. This information is updated daily.
Lee Chang-jun, Head of the Sustainable COVID-19 Medical Response System Reform Task Force at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, said, "With the opening of public data on respiratory treatment designated medical institutions, we hope that the public can more easily find medical institutions through major portal services."

Accordingly, starting today, the system will be used to receive designation applications from institutions wishing to participate as respiratory treatment designated medical institutions.
