DIT Green is an eco-friendly company producing 'flame-retardant fabric for mattresses' and 'sound-absorbing materials made from recycled waste.' It won the grand prize at the 2nd Re-challenge Support Story Contest hosted by Kibo. Although it faced liquidity difficulties due to a factory fire in 2017, based on the CEO's determination to restart and technological capabilities, the company completed corporate rehabilitation early and succeeded in re-challenging through Kibo's re-challenge support program.
Chairman Kim said, "Failure and re-challenge are normal phenomena in the startup ecosystem, and Kibo will provide timely customized re-challenge guarantees to ensure that honest failures of small and medium venture entrepreneurs become the foundation for a new leap."
He then toured the production line and delivered an encouraging message, saying, "I hope you grow into a global company as an eco-friendly company with secured technological capabilities."
