Within 5 Years Returning to Farming or Rural Areas, Targeting Young and Middle-Aged Adults Under 40
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The Sangju Agricultural Technology Center in Gyeongbuk will conduct a new farmer settlement training program for five days from the 14th to the 18th.
This settlement training program is designed to provide new farmers with basic farming techniques and the latest agricultural information to support their stable settlement in rural areas.
The training is divided into basic and advanced classes. The basic class consists of 8 sessions on general agriculture, while the advanced class includes 8 sessions on peach cultivation and 8 sessions on grape cultivation.
The training targets those who have returned to farming or rural areas within the last five years and are young and middle-aged adults under 40 years old.
However, young and middle-aged adults can apply regardless of region, and if the number of trainees is insufficient, prospective returnees to farming may also apply.
Applications can be submitted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Sangju Agricultural Technology Center website.
