Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Launches Initiative to Foster Talent in Digital New Technologies
[Asia Economy (Siheung) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation has partnered with Siheung City to establish a cooperative system for nurturing core young talents in digital new technologies tailored to companies and supporting their employment.
On the 7th, the two organizations announced that they signed a business agreement at Siheung City Hall to establish a collaborative system for nurturing young talents in digital new technologies in the 4th industrial revolution.
According to the agreement, Siheung City will provide educational facilities and spaces for installing practical training equipment for vocational training in the 4th industrial sector. Through this, the Job Foundation will nurture 25 young job seekers as core young talents in company-customized digital new technologies starting from the first half of this year at the youth space (Youth Collaboration Village). Additionally, through cooperation between the institutions, joint promotion for recruiting trainees will be conducted, and companies seeking employees will be discovered.
The foundation expects that this collaboration will contribute to resolving job mismatches by promoting vocational training to nurture young technical talents suitable for the local industry, such as training software developers for smart factories, which have high demand for recruitment.
