'Jindo Star' Song Ga-in Attends Premiere as Actress in Film 'Maemiso-ri'

On the morning of the 7th, Song Ga-in attended the press screening of the movie 'Maemisor?' held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and greeted as an actress.
'Maemisor?,' which opens on the 24th, is a new work by director Lee Chung-ryeol, who directed 'Warangsori' (2009), released after 13 years. It depicts the deep conflict and tearful reconciliation between a father and daughter who finally face each other after 20 years, caught between life and death.
Filmed on location in Jindo, the movie centers on 'Dasi-raegi,' a traditional Jindo folk game played by clowns and pallbearers in the yard of a mourning house on the night before a funeral, portraying the conflict and reconciliation between the father and daughter. Capturing Korea's unique traditional sounds and scenery, it has been officially invited to the 25th Busan International Film Festival and the 28th Austin Film Festival, gaining attention.
Song Ga-in, who hails from Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, and served as Jindo's promotional ambassador in 2019, made a special appearance in 'Maemisor?,' which captures the beautiful scenery of the island, enriching the story. She appears as a specially invited singer and performs 'Mumyeong Baewoo' (Unknown Actor), the final mission song of 'Miss Trot' and a song that sparked the trot craze in Korea.
