Monthly Selection of Integrity Tasks and Departmental Implementation Discussions
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, conducts a "Integrity Commitment Day" on the first Monday of every month to reinforce the internal commitment to integrity among public officials, according to the comprehensive plan for improving integrity established in January 2022.
The Integrity Commitment Day was created to encourage each department to consider practical measures related to the integrity tasks selected monthly by the department in charge of integrity, aiming to foster a culture of integrity in daily life.
For February, the county selected the topic of the public officials' duty of neutrality under Article 9 of the Public Official Election Act, ahead of the 20th presidential election and the 8th simultaneous local elections nationwide.
