Market Kurly, 60% Increase in SME Sales Last Year... "Growing Together with Partners"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The total sales of all small and medium-sized business partners supplying products to Market Kurly increased by approximately 60% compared to the previous year.
According to Market Kurly on the 7th, the top three partners with the highest sales last year were all small and medium-sized businesses. The partner ranked first supplied vegetables to Market Kurly, achieving the highest sales for two consecutive years. Following that, the company supplying Market Kurly's private brand (PB) meat product 'Ilsang Miso' took second place, and a fruit supplier ranked third with a sales increase of 7036%.
The number of companies whose sales more than doubled from 2020 to 2021 reached 367. The average growth rate per company was 670%. The companies with the highest average monthly sales growth rates were the Japanese cuisine specialty restaurant 'Kobako' and the popular Garosugil eatery 'My Hanoi.' The average monthly sales growth rate on Market Kurly recorded 1381%.
Among Market Kurly's new partners, 99.8% were small and medium-sized businesses. This is a 1.8 percentage point increase compared to the 98% share of small and medium-sized businesses in 2020. The total sales of new small and medium-sized businesses last year exceeded 100 billion won, continuing from 2020.
