Gyeonggi-do to Hold Briefing Session on Support Programs for Out-of-School Youth
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will hold an explanatory meeting for the 'Out-of-School Youth' support project.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it will hold the '2022 Gyeonggi Province Out-of-School Youth Support Project Explanatory Meeting' online on the 9th for city and county officials in charge of out-of-school youth affairs and workers at the Out-of-School Youth Support Center, Kumdream.
At the explanatory meeting, the province will provide guidance on ▲ the province's policy direction for supporting out-of-school youth ▲ the operation plan for policy projects ▲ the Gyeonggi Province Kumdream Center project information ▲ and the central government project schedule.
Since 2019, the province has been promoting customized service projects such as self-reliance support, welfare support, mentoring, mental health services, and cultural activity support projects to help out-of-school youth grow into healthy members of society.

The self-reliance support allowance is a project that pays self-reliance training participation allowances (200,000 to 250,000 KRW) and qualification acquisition allowances (200,000 KRW) in the form of cultural gift certificates and local currency.
