US National Security Advisor: "Russia Can Invade Ukraine at Any Time"... Warning to China Also Issued
[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor, predicted on the 6th (local time) that Russia could invade Ukraine at any time. He also warned that if China supports Russia's invasion of Ukraine, China will also pay a price.
Advisor Sullivan appeared on Fox News that day and stated, "Russia can launch a military invasion of Ukraine at any time from now." He added, "It could be in a few weeks," but also mentioned, "There is still a possibility that Russia will choose a diplomatic solution."
On ABC News, Sullivan also said, "Russia's invasion of Ukraine could happen tomorrow or take several weeks, but dialogue remains an option."
He also remarked, "We must prepare for the possibility that Russia will launch a military invasion before the Beijing Olympics end." Regarding the cooperation between China and Russia, he said, "I do not believe China is in a position to compensate for the impact on Russia if the West imposes sanctions on Russia," and warned, "If China supports this, China will also pay a price."

Advisor Sullivan reiterated, "If Russia carries out an invasion of Ukraine, Russia must pay a strategic price," and confirmed, "We must also be prepared with strong and severe economic sanctions."
