Startup Promotion Agency and Marine Corps Establish MOU to Lay Foundation for Youth Startup Activation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) will support entrepreneurship and startup education to revitalize startup clubs within the Marine Corps.
KISED and the Marine Corps signed a business agreement on the 4th to conduct startup education for Marine Corps soldiers and help foster an entrepreneurial spirit.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲supporting startup education programs to assist startup club activities within the Marine Corps ▲ensuring favorable conditions for startup club activities within the Marine Corps ▲promoting startup support projects within the Marine Corps, thereby establishing a cooperative foundation to revitalize youth startups.
KISED will provide online education on entrepreneurship and startup practices to Marine Corps soldiers interested in startups and operate camps for teams advancing to the Defense League.
The Marine Corps will jointly operate collaborative programs to create a startup boom and guarantee conditions for startup-related activities, actively encouraging participation in startup club activities and startup education courses.
Additionally, both organizations plan to establish a cooperative system by utilizing promotional channels linked to each institution to guide various youth startup development programs and promote startup information.
Youth prospective entrepreneurs within the Marine Corps will be able to receive startup education and various information services, bringing them one step closer to revitalizing the startup ecosystem.
