BC Card Lost Ark PLCC, Surpasses 10,000 Cumulative Issuances Just Two Days After Launch
The Nation's First Single Game Specialized PLCC
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] BC Card announced on the 4th that the co-branded credit card (PLCC) 'Lost Ark Card,' launched in collaboration with Smilegate RPG on the 26th of last month, surpassed 10,000 cumulative issuances within two days of its release.
The Lost Ark Card is the first single-game specialized PLCC in Korea, offering benefits tailored to the representative MMORPG game Lost Ark. When charging the in-game currency 'Royal Crystal' with this card, users receive a 10% billing discount, and in daily life, they enjoy a 0.5% or 1.5% (for online merchants) billing discount without any previous month's spending requirements.
BC Card cites payment convenience, benefits, and card design that resonates with users as factors behind the card's issuance success. Considering the familiarity of game users with mobile payments, the Lost Ark Card is instantly issued as a mobile card through BC Card's Paybook application before receiving the physical card, enabling easy payment. Additionally, it was released with eight designs reflecting popular in-game characters.
