According to Korea Expressway Corporation, the travel time by passenger car from Seoul Tollgate to major cities nationwide at 10 a.m. is 6 hours 10 minutes to Busan, 4 hours 50 minutes to Gwangju, 6 hours 10 minutes to Ulsan, 5 hours 10 minutes to Daegu, 2 hours 30 minutes to Daejeon, and 3 hours 50 minutes to Gangneung.
The Expressway Corporation expects the outbound traffic congestion to peak between 3 and 4 p.m. and ease around 7 to 8 p.m. The return traffic congestion is expected to peak around 4 to 5 p.m. and clear by 7 to 8 p.m.
