According to the MBC 'News Desk' report on the 28th, in December last year, a first-year middle school male student A from a school in Gyeonggi Province sexually assaulted and illegally filmed a first-year female student B from the same school at a karaoke room. The male student stated, "I filmed for about 1 or 2 seconds and showed it once to an older acquaintance."
On the 7th, B was sexually harassed by another male student C on the emergency stairs of a commercial building. According to an audio file recorded by B's mother, C said, "I drank and was quite drunk. I smoked and kissed her." When B's mother asked, "Was it forced?" C admitted the crime by answering, "Yes."
B is experiencing psychological shock, fearing the spread of the video. Her mother lamented, "My daughter says she wants to completely remake her face. She says she is afraid to meet other friends." It has been confirmed that five peer students watched the illegal filming video of B being sexually harassed.
B's mother directly secured testimonies from the two perpetrators and peer students who saw the video and submitted them to the police on the 11th.
However, the police applied for a warrant to seize the mobile phone only on the 16th, fifteen days after the report. B's mother expressed frustration, saying, "Our child has been living in seclusion at home since that day, but the investigation is too slow," and added, "The perpetrators' friends are committing secondary victimization against my daughter."
