The police conduct regular promotion exams annually for ranks below Superintendent. Candidates include Patrol Officer, Senior Patrol Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Superintendent ranks. Final successful candidates are determined by combining exam scores and work evaluations. This year, a total of 18,142 people nationwide took the exam.
