Fubon Hyundai Life Launches 'ZERO Worry Cancer Insurance' Sales
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Fubon Hyundai Life announced on the 28th that it is selling the ‘ZERO Worry-Free Cancer Insurance,’ which allows enrollment even for older individuals or those with a medical history.
Fubon Hyundai Life’s ‘ZERO Worry-Free Cancer Insurance’ comprehensively covers various benefits related to cancer at a reasonable premium. It also has the advantage of covering diagnosis fees for adult diseases such as cerebrovascular disease and ischemic heart disease.
Through cancer diagnosis benefits and riders, it covers treatment costs related to cancer such as chemotherapy, cancer surgery, and cancer hospitalization, and additionally provides cancer diagnosis benefits for specific cancers (breast cancer and male and female reproductive organ cancers).
In particular, through renewal, cancer diagnosis benefits can be covered up to the age of 100. Depending on the underwriting type, enrollment is possible through ‘General Enrollment’ and ‘Simplified Enrollment.’ Through ‘Simplified Enrollment,’ individuals aged 40 to 70 can enroll, including those with a medical history.
Besides the specific cancer diagnosis rider (mandatory rider), the ‘ZERO Worry-Free Cancer Insurance’ offers seven optional riders including cancer direct treatment hospitalization rider, nursing hospital cancer hospitalization rider, cancer surgery rider, chemotherapy/radiation/drug treatment rider, targeted anticancer drug approved treatment rider, cerebrovascular disease diagnosis rider, and ischemic heart disease diagnosis rider.
When enrolling in ‘ZERO Worry-Free Cancer Insurance’ through ‘General Enrollment,’ the eligible age is from 30 to 60 years old, and through ‘Simplified Enrollment,’ enrollment is possible from 40 to 70 years old.
Assuming the main contract and specific cancer diagnosis rider (mandatory rider) coverage amounts are each 20 million KRW, with a 20-year term and 20-year premium payment period, the monthly premium for a 40-year-old male under ‘General Enrollment’ is 10,720 KRW, and for a 40-year-old female, it is 10,980 KRW. The monthly premium varies depending on the selection of the seven riders.
