President Moon: "12 Win-Win Regional Jobs in 3 Years... Hope for Manufacturing U-Turn"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in stated that the number of win-win regional jobs managed by the CMS has increased to 12 locations in three years, and he predicted that these would become new growth engines and a hope for the manufacturing industry's return.
On the 27th, President Moon said through a social network service (SNS) message, "Today, three win-win regional job agreements were signed in Nonsan, Iksan, and Jeonju. With an investment of 515.1 billion won by 2024, local industries will be revitalized, creating 5,761 jobs," he said.
President Moon emphasized, "The core of the Nonsan and Iksan-type jobs is the win-win relationship between local farms and food companies," adding, "Now, food companies including CJ, hy, and Harim will be able to stably supply clean agricultural products from Nonsan and Iksan to produce tastier and healthier products."
He also noted that in Jeonju, large and small-medium enterprises, including Hyosung, are joining hands to foster the carbon fiber industry, stating, "Jeonju, which has focused on the carbon fiber industry for the past 15 years, will emerge as a global advanced materials industry hub."

President Moon said, "The win-win regional jobs that started in Gwangju in January 2019 have increased to twelve in exactly three years," and added, "New growth engines are blossoming through cooperation among workers, farmers, and companies across the country, and hope for the manufacturing industry's return has also been revived."
