President Jeon Ho-hwan and professors from the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering visited the Gangnam shipyard site on the 25th to gather opinions on the educational direction of the newly established Department of Marine e-Mobility and to conduct an industry demand survey.
Gangnam CEO Jung Tae-yoon emphasized, "This year's order volume has increased significantly compared to previous years, resulting in a shortage of on-site personnel," and added, "Innovation by local universities is necessary to cultivate the workforce demanded by companies."
Representatives from Dongmyung University and Gangnam exchanged various opinions on ▲retraining of industry workers ▲linkage with further education ▲talent desired by small and medium-sized enterprises. They directly confirmed the problems faced by companies and universities and discussed future cooperation related to improving the education system.

The Department of Marine e-Mobility at Dongmyung University aims to "cultivate creative and practical talents preferred by companies" by establishing an innovative engineering education system oriented toward industry-academia cooperative product development and employment-linked field training.
