Two Suspects Arrested in 1.1 Billion Won Theft in Gangnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Two suspects involved in a theft case where cash worth approximately 1.1 billion KRW was stolen have been apprehended by the police.
According to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on the 26th, the police arrested two suspects in Incheon and Busan on the 12th and 21st of this month.
Both suspects have been confirmed to be male, and they are facing charges of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Crimes (joint trespassing of a building) and special theft.
They broke into an office located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, around 8:30 PM on the 4th and stole 1.1 billion KRW in cash. They stated that most of the stolen money was spent on entertainment expenses.

A police official stated, "We are continuing the investigation to determine if there are additional accomplices."
