Gwangju Bank Holds Love Sharing Event for Lunar New Year with Gwang-eun Leaders Club
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank announced on the 26th that the ‘Gwang-eun Leaders Club,’ a gathering of outstanding local SME CEOs, held a sharing event on the 25th ahead of the Lunar New Year, uniting members’ love for the region.
The event took place at the ‘Haesol Regional Children’s Center’ in Nam-gu, Gwangju, and the ‘Happy Regional Children’s Center’ in Dong-gu. Gwangju Bank and members of the Gwang-eun Leaders Club delivered home appliances, office supplies, and donations to encourage children at welfare facilities.
The Gwang-eun Leaders Club is a gathering of outstanding local SME CEOs in partnership with Gwangju Bank, currently boasting about 260 members. Every year during Lunar New Year and Chuseok, they consistently carry out various sharing activities such as supporting local welfare facilities and the Gwangju-Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, taking the lead in regional development.
Kim Hong-gyun, Chairman of the Gwang-eun Leaders Club Central Association, said, “Since its founding in 2007, the Gwang-eun Leaders Club, the top CEO gathering in our region, has been committed to social contribution activities and job creation, serving as a foothold for regional development.
