Kumho Construction Wins Reconstruction Contract for Seongsin Apartment in Yonghyeon, Incheon
Kumho Construction has been selected as the contractor for the 'Incheon Yonghyeon Seongsin Apartment Small-scale Reconstruction' project, securing two redevelopment projects consecutively at the beginning of the year.
This project involves the reconstruction of an area of 6,000㎡ at 627-85 Yonghyeon-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City, to supply two apartment buildings with a total of 211 units, ranging from three basement floors to 33 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of approximately 45,000㎡. Additionally, 140 officetel units will be supplied. The construction cost is about 65 billion KRW, with construction scheduled to begin in 2024.
The apartment is located near Sinsun Elementary School, Sinheung Middle School, and Sinheung Girls' Middle School, providing good educational accessibility, and is also equipped with facilities such as Inha University Hospital and E-Mart. Furthermore, with the planned Incheon Inner Port Special Development Project, benefits from the creation of tourism, cultural, and industrial complex infrastructure are also expected.
Kumho Construction was previously selected as the contractor for the 'Daegu Seoul Jungdong Street Housing Redevelopment Project.' This project involves building 200 apartment units in the area of 551-1 Jungdong, Suseong-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, with a construction cost of about 47 billion KRW.

A Kumho Construction official stated, "By consecutively winning two redevelopment projects this year, we have recorded approximately 112 billion KRW in orders since the beginning of the year," adding, "As small-scale redevelopment projects expand, we plan to actively pursue more project orders."
