Let's Prepare for the New Semester Together... Gyeongnam Office of Education Holds Orientation for Prospective High School 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Graders

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Office of Education will hold a 'College Admission Information Session for Students and Parents Preparing for a Hopeful New Semester' on the 26th and 27th for prospective high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
The Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center has organized the session to help students preparing for the new school year spend their vacation efficiently in relation to college admissions.
The session will focus on the features of the 2015 curriculum, the evaluation methods for general elective subjects and career elective subjects in college admissions, characteristics of different admission types, and preparation methods for student record-based admissions.
The Eastern region information session will be held on the 26th at the Gyeongnam Office of Education Annex 3rd floor Gonggam Hall, and the Western region session on the 27th at the Jinju Education Support Office 2nd floor auditorium, from 7 PM to 9 PM.
Up to 99 students and parents who pre-registered can attend, and only those who have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and are within six months after vaccination are allowed entry.
On the day, Kim Jongseung from the Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center will explain the characteristics of college admission types and efficient preparation methods, while Kim Dong-eon from Pusan National University Admissions Office and Shin Bongju from Pukyong National University Admissions Office will guide on the features of the comprehensive student record admission type and evaluation methods by area in the school life record.
Attendees will receive lecture materials and a booklet containing key points of the 2023 college admission implementation plan, student record-based admission types, essay admission types, methods of reflecting school life record academic scores by university for student record-based admissions, and features of the College Scholastic Ability Test.
