Incheon TP, Recruiting Participating Companies for 'Global Small Giant Enterprise Development'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Global Small Giant Development Project' until the 9th of next month.
This project is jointly promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Incheon City, and the Incheon Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration to discover promising small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with growth potential and nurture them into global companies.
The Global Small Giant Development Project selects and supports 200 companies nationwide every year, and this year, 16 companies will be chosen in Incheon.
Eligible companies are SMEs with sales between 10 billion and 100 billion KRW and exports exceeding 5 million USD. Innovative companies such as venture, Inno-Biz, and Main-Biz companies, as well as service industry companies, must have sales between 5 billion and 100 billion KRW and exports over 1 million USD.
Companies selected as Global Small Giants will receive benefits including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups export voucher program (4 years, up to 200 million KRW), Incheon City regional autonomous program support (around 20 million KRW), preferential treatment when participating in technology development projects (R&D), and support for guarantees and financing.
Applications can be submitted through the Small and Medium Business Export Support Center website (www.exportcenter.go.kr).

An Incheon TP official stated, "Starting this year, in addition to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups export voucher program, various preferential benefits related to overseas marketing, such as additional points for export support on the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency’s own shopping mall, have increased. We will support the growth of global small giants in the Incheon region."
