Yeonggwang-gun 'Item-specific Agricultural Researchers Association Executive Council' Successfully Concluded
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do recently held the 'Executive Council of Item-specific Agricultural Research Associations' in the conference room of the Agricultural Technology Center, the county announced on the 24th.
The council, attended by presidents and general managers of item-specific agricultural research associations in the area, was organized to enhance the weak competitiveness of individual farmers and improve problem-solving abilities through the sharing of agricultural information.
The Yeonggwang-gun Agricultural Technology Center (Director Ko Yoonja), which hosted the council, collected opinions on basic plans and suggestions from each research association to actively reflect them in the 'Basic Plan for Item-specific Agricultural Research Associations' to support this year's research activities such as organization, production, and processing.
Meanwhile, the county operates 16 item-specific agricultural research associations including chili pepper, strawberry, green onion, Shine Muscat, and peach.
A total of 433 members participate actively, engaging in on-site consulting to improve item-specific capabilities and sharing information through regular meetings to acquire new technologies.
