On the 23rd, Park mentioned on Facebook's 'Stories of the President Not in the Briefing' that he met an acquaintance who had worked in economic government offices and later joined a large corporation, who said that "the Moon Jae-in administration's corporate regulatory reforms were insufficient." He added, "While I can clearly understand this perspective to some extent, overall, I cannot agree."
Park stated, "The Moon Jae-in administration made great efforts toward regulatory innovation, and President Moon's determination for regulatory innovation was intense." He especially recalled participating as the first spokesperson in the 'Innovation Growth Strategy Meeting' held for the first time by the Moon administration on November 28, 2017, saying, "I still cannot forget President Moon's determination for regulatory innovation that I felt on site."
He also conveyed the president's voice, saying, "We have been easing regulations for 20 years, so why is it still not working and why are we falling behind? Regulations in new industries are more problematic. If there are no regulations in the law, then it should be allowed, but even when there are no regulations in the law, they are rather prohibited."
Park emphasized, "Innovation that allows large corporations, small and medium enterprises, and innovative startups to coexist and grow together may feel like slower regulatory easing to some companies in the short term. They may feel frustrated because projects that need to be done immediately are not easily resolved. However, creating a healthy innovation ecosystem ultimately means completing a self-sustaining supply chain that is essential for the sustainable growth of companies."
Park explained, "Under the Moon administration, 'on-site communication' such as corporate meetings and field visits has greatly increased. The current administration's cumulative corporate communication totals 592 times (an average of 10.6 times per month), with 4,920 participating companies (an average of 87.9 companies per month)." He added, "Using reporting centers and corporate reports to identify regulatory difficulties on site, the current administration has discovered a total of 22,388 cases (an average of 400 cases per month), showing a 103.8% increase compared to the previous administration."

He also highlighted that in the area of regulatory difficulty system improvements, the current administration achieved a total of 6,367 system improvements, which is 3.2 times the results of the previous administration. Park said, "While quantitative increases are important, qualitative increases should also be noted. We must evaluate that we have listened directly to the difficulties of companies on site and properly identified and improved the painful areas, resulting in highly perceptible processing from the companies' perspective."
