"Order Love" is a fundraising program where viewers can easily pledge monthly regular donations via phone calls. CJ OnStyle has been consistently broadcasting the program for 19 years since 2004. Since 2016, it has also linked with the KakaoTalk mobile application’s Together Value service to encourage more people to participate in donations for underprivileged groups.
In the special 200th episode broadcast on the 24th of last month, the stories of Jimin, who was born with a congenital deformity, and single mother Areum were introduced. Comedian Lee Sung-mi appeared, showing a video of Areum’s hard daily life balancing a part-time job at a meat restaurant and childcare, and appealed to viewers for help.
Recently, CJ OnStyle also launched a mobile live commerce donation broadcast. The first broadcast on the 23rd of last month was held in collaboration with Korea Food for the Hungry International to support the independence of single mothers. Handmade soaps made directly at the Happy Sharing Foundation’s single mother independence center, operated by Korea Food for the Hungry International, along with popular brands from sponsoring companies, were sold together, and a portion of the proceeds was donated again.
