[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] A heavy snow warning was issued on the morning of the 19th for Seoul, the metropolitan area, and Chungnam. A heavy snow advisory was issued for northern Chungbuk and western Gangwon.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, from morning to afternoon (9 AM to 3 PM), snow will fall at a rate of 1 to 3 cm per hour in the metropolitan area, western Gangwon, and northern Chungbuk. In the afternoon (noon to 6 PM), snow will fall in the central region excluding eastern Gangwon, Honam, inland Gyeongbuk, and western inland Gyeongnam. Most of the snow will stop in the evening (6 to 9 PM).
