President Moon Arrives in Dubai... Discusses Hydrogen Cooperation with UAE
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the 15th (local time).
President Moon will begin his official schedule on the 16th by attending the 'Korea-UAE Hydrogen Cooperation Business Roundtable,' held to promote cooperation between the two countries in hydrogen-related fields.
At this event, President Moon will actively engage in economic diplomacy by urging cooperation between the governments and companies of both countries in hydrogen-related sectors and encouraging the advancement of Korean companies within the UAE.
He will also attend the 'Dubai Expo Korea Day Official Event,' actively promoting the bid for the Busan Expo, and hold a meeting with Mohammed Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
On the 17th, he will attend the 'Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Opening Ceremony and Zayed Award Ceremony,' hosted by Mohammed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, where he will deliver a keynote speech on carbon neutrality and clean energy.
Following this, he will hold a Korea-UAE summit with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to discuss ways to expand and deepen cooperation between the two countries in a more practical and future-oriented manner.
He will also visit Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital (SKSH), a successful example of Korea-UAE cooperation in healthcare.
After completing his schedule in the UAE, President Moon plans to visit Saudi Arabia and Egypt in sequence.
