[Luxury Collection] Callaway Golf Rogue ST "Ram and Schauffele's New Weapon"
[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] "The new weapons of world No.1 Jon Rahm and Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele."
Callaway Golf's 'New Rogue ST' driver (photo) attracted attention at the Sentry Tournament, the first event of the 2022 PGA Tour, held on the 10th at the Plantation Golf Course (par 73) at Kapalua Resort on Maui Island, Hawaii. Among the 38 players, including the 'oldest major champion' Phil Mickelson (USA) and Abraham Ancer (Mexico), at least 10 showcased the new product.
The core of the 'New Rogue ST' is the Tungsten Speed Cartridge, which places up to 26g of tungsten in a low and deep position in the head. This technology enhances speed, stability, and moment of inertia (MOI). The 'New Jailbreak Technology,' which places two titanium bars connecting the crown and sole behind the face, remains unchanged. It incorporates an AI-optimized Flash Face to provide greater forgiveness.

During the Sentry Tournament, Rahm carried the 'Rogue ST' Triple Diamond LS in his caddie bag. It flew up to 401 yards, and with a fairway hit rate of 81.67% and a 'clean hit,' he finished as runner-up. Rahm, who said he had "no hesitation in choosing the new driver," expressed satisfaction, saying, "I like the black matte color and carbon fiber as well," and "I achieved a spin rate between 2200 and 2500 rpm and a launch angle of 10 to 12 degrees." Mickelson praised it as a "game changer."
