Gokseong-gun Accepting Applications for Livestock Farm Subsidy Program Until the 28th
Support of 1.22 Billion Won for 24 Supplementary Projects
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-seon] Gokseong County announced that it will accept applications for livestock sector subsidy projects for 2022 until January 28.
This year, Gokseong County plans to promote a total of 24 projects with a subsidy budget of 1.22 billion KRW. First, the county will allocate 480 million KRW from its own funds to 11 subsidy projects. Representative projects include support for ventilators, wells, bedding drying machinery and equipment, hot air machines, black goat equipment, and forage mixers.
As for national and provincial government-funded projects, 740 million KRW will be provided for 13 projects.
For the livestock odor improvement project (support for manure storage facilities, liquid fertilizer circulation systems, skid loaders, and other livestock waste treatment facilities and equipment), 460 million KRW will be supported.
Additionally, 280 million KRW will be allocated to 12 projects including automatic Korean cattle neck collar devices, poultry calcium additives, eco-friendly pest control equipment, beekeeping industry promotion projects, deer artificial insemination support, pig farming productivity improvement support, and insect feed additive support.
Applicants must be farms licensed or registered for livestock farming in Gokseong County. Those wishing to apply should visit the relevant town or township office to submit the application form and related documents.
A county official stated, “We will do our best to help livestock farmers establish advanced livestock environments and continuously generate profits through various livestock sector supports.”
