80-Year-Old Man Arrested for Killing Wife Suspected of Infidelity
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] An octogenarian man who suspected his wife of infidelity and killed her has been arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 13th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul arrested an 80-year-old man, Mr. A, on charges of murder and is currently investigating him.
Mr. A is accused of killing his wife with a blunt weapon at their home in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, around 1 p.m. the previous day. Immediately after the crime, Mr. A contacted his son and confessed to the act, and the police responded to the son's report and arrested him.
During the police investigation, Mr. A admitted to the crime but stated that he suspected his wife of infidelity. Mr. A's son reportedly testified that his father was suffering from morbid jealousy.
