Sidiz Donates Chairs Worth 500 Million KRW to 120 Songpa Senior Welfare Centers and Child Centers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Sidiz, the chair specialist brand of the Fursys Group, donated over 2,600 chairs to 120 locations including senior welfare centers and local children's centers in Songpa-gu. This sponsorship opportunity was arranged as part of the company's social responsibility and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management efforts.
Sidiz delivered 'NOOI' chairs worth approximately 500 million KRW to welfare facilities within Songpa-gu, such as senior welfare centers and local children's centers, for free use. On the 12th, Sidiz and Songpa District Office held a donation ceremony and agreed to cooperate to improve the environment of public facilities.
Lee Sang-bae, CEO of Sidiz, stated, "As the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has increased the time spent indoors, we hope these chairs will be usefully utilized in all spaces where chairs are needed." He added, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility to coexist with neighbors and the local community."
