[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters plans to generously provide scholarships by selecting student-athletes and outstanding graduates from the Uljin-gun area to foster local talent.
Hanul Headquarters announced on the 13th that scholarship certificates and awards will be presented in accordance with each school's graduation ceremony.
Hanul Headquarters will award scholarship certificates and a total of 32.5 million KRW in scholarships to 65 student-athletes affiliated with the Korea Sports Council in soccer, shooting, and yachting. The recipients are middle and high school students who have achieved excellent results in various competitions.
As part of the outstanding graduate commendation project, 26 graduates from 26 elementary, middle, and high schools in the district will receive certificates of commendation and a total of 11.6 million KRW in scholarships. Outstanding students recommended by their principals will receive scholarships as awards: 200,000 KRW for elementary students, 500,000 KRW for middle school students, and 1,000,000 KRW for high school students.
This year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a separate event was omitted, and scholarship certificates will be delivered at each school's own award ceremony in line with the graduation schedule, with scholarships paid individually.
