A Man in His 50s Found Dead in Car at Shopping Mall Parking Lot in Songpa-gu, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 50s was found dead in a vehicle parked in the underground parking lot of a large complex shopping mall in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
According to the police on the 12th, officers discovered the body of a man in his 50s inside a vehicle parked on the 4th basement level of a shopping mall in Songpa-gu and are conducting an investigation.
Police, who responded to a report stating "a vehicle has been abandoned for a long time since November last year," forcibly opened the car door and found the man's body. Upon checking his identity, it was revealed that a missing person report for the man had been filed on the 6th of last month. It is reported that the man had recently experienced financial difficulties.
A police official stated, "There is no suspicion of a crime at this time," but added that an autopsy will be conducted.
