3 Rescued from Exterior Wall Collapse at Gwangju Apartment Construction Site... Further Checks Underway
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Jin-hyung] At around 3:46 PM on the 11th, the upper exterior wall of one apartment building collapsed at a new apartment construction site in Hwajeong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
It is reported that about 10 vehicles nearby were damaged after being buried under the fallen debris.
Currently, the fire authorities are taking safety measures and assessing the extent of the damage. Three people have been rescued, all of whom are reported to have minor injuries.
The police and fire department are also checking for any other casualties.
