The pilot project, which was implemented in 9 cities and counties last year, is gradually expanding throughout Gyeongbuk.
The eco-friendly agricultural product packages provided to pregnant women are selected and composed of regional agricultural products that comply with eco-friendly certification standards such as organic and pesticide-free agricultural products, processed foods, and antibiotic-free livestock products, and are verified annually.
Any pregnant woman residing in the pilot areas who gave birth after January 1, 2021, or currently has a baby as of the application date can apply, but support cannot be duplicated with the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Community Integrated Health Promotion Project Nutrition Plus.
Applications can be made from the 19th on the Pregnant Women Integrated Mall website, and if online application is difficult, applicants can visit the eup/myeon/dong office with documents such as a birth certificate or pregnancy/childbirth confirmation to apply.
After qualification verification, a unique local government number will be sent via text message or email to pregnant women confirmed as beneficiaries on a first-come, first-served basis, and pregnant women who receive the unique number can sign up as members through the Integrated Mall.
Eligible pregnant women can purchase the packages directly through the Integrated Mall, and with support of 384,000 KRW and a self-payment of 96,000 KRW, they can receive eco-friendly agricultural products worth approximately 480,000 KRW annually delivered to each household.
