This agreement was promoted to support COVID-19 vulnerable groups in the region by purchasing COVID-19 prevention supplies for research institute companies within the R&D special zone through the Korea Standards Association's donation.

The donated funds will be used by the Special Zone Foundation to purchase COVID-19 prevention supplies developed by research institute companies and support related organizations and vulnerable groups in the jurisdiction. Bae I-yeol, Director of the Management Quality Institute at the Korea Standards Association, said, "Through this donation, we can simultaneously support the development of our research institutions and COVID-19 vulnerable groups," adding, "We will continue to practice sustainable management that fulfills social responsibility."
