Hwasun-gun to Recruit 'New Small but Strong Farmers Agricultural Management Entities' Until the 10th of Next Month

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun announced on the 11th that it is recruiting capable ‘new small but strong farmers agricultural management entities’ who will lead the future agriculture of Hwasun until the 10th of next month.

The Agricultural Technology Center supports agricultural management entities to set and achieve their own management goals, selects small and medium-sized farms as strong farmers every year, and requires completion of basic education on strong farmer management improvement practice to be selected as a strong farmer candidate this year.

The county has produced 434 strong farmers over the past 10 years.

Selected strong farmer agricultural management entities can receive support for education to improve management improvement capabilities, management diagnosis to achieve management goals, professional technical education and consulting, and autonomous group activities.

Last year, new education programs were developed and operated annually, such as e-commerce education using smart stores and promotional material production education with stories reflecting the characteristics of farms.

Applicants can download the application form from the Hwasun-gun Agricultural Technology Center website, fill it out, and submit it via the person in charge’s email or by visiting the center.

An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, “We will make practical contributions to farm income through differentiated step-by-step management improvement education,” and added, “We hope that many young farmers passionate about agriculture will participate as strong farmers and become a driving force to enhance the county’s agricultural competitiveness.”
