Ministry of SMEs and Startups Opens ICT Solution Development Project Recruitment... 500 Million KRW Support per Task
A Total of 30 Projects Selected, Up to 500 Million KRW Support per Company for 2 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 11th that it is recruiting support projects for the ‘Smart Service Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Solution Development Project’ to innovate the non-manufacturing sector of small and medium enterprises.
This project supports the development or advancement of smart service solutions that utilize advanced digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Metaverse to help improve productivity, increase high value-added services, and create new business models in the service sector of SMEs.
This year, a total of 30 projects will be selected and supported. Last year, 34 projects were selected and supported. To focus on future promising fields, 178 items and related service sectors included in the ‘2022-2024 SME Technology Roadmap’ are targeted for support.

View original imageThe Ministry of SMEs and Startups classifies and recruits projects into three types to discover and support various types of projects: ▲ Demand company matching type based on the on-site demand of specific companies ▲ Supply company single type for developing solutions that service SMEs can use universally ▲ Consortium type supporting collaborative development through technology convergence among multiple supply companies.
The demand company matching type and supply company single type will be supported up to 500 million KRW per project, and the consortium type projects will be supported up to 500 million KRW for up to three participating companies over two years.

Eligibility for application is companies that have the capability to discover and develop solutions needed in the SME service field. Applications will be accepted from the 27th until February 11th through the ‘Pan-Government Integrated Research Support System.’
