Air Busan Temporarily Adds 130 Domestic Flights During Lunar New Year Holiday... 37 Daily Flights Between Busan and Gimpo
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan will operate a total of 130 temporary flights on five domestic routes during the Lunar New Year holiday period to facilitate smooth travel for holiday travelers.
From the 27th of this month to February 3rd, Air Busan will add flights on the following routes: ▲Busan-Gimpo 74 flights, ▲Ulsan-Gimpo 20 flights, ▲Busan-Jeju 10 flights, ▲Gimpo-Jeju 20 flights, and ▲Ulsan-Jeju 6 flights.
With a total of 25,710 seats available, temporary flights will be concentrated on the Busan-Gimpo route, which has the highest travel demand during the holiday season.
The Busan-Gimpo route is expected to operate an average of 37 flights per day during the holiday period.
To prevent congestion on specific days before and after the Lunar New Year holiday, Air Busan plans to deploy temporary flights starting from the 27th, three days before the holiday, to distribute passengers more evenly.
Tickets for the temporary Lunar New Year flights have been on sale since the 10th and can be purchased through the Air Busan website, mobile web, and app, just like regular tickets.
