Nongshim Expands Use of Eco-Friendly Packaging for Ramen... Replaces Plastic in Mupamatangmyeon
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Nongshim announced on the 11th that it has replaced the packaging of Mupamatangmyeon bundles from the existing red plastic to transparent plastic, inserting only minimal content such as brand design and labeling on the front and side panels.
Changing the packaging material to transparent plastic reduces the amount of ink used for printing and improves recycling efficiency, thereby promoting resource conservation and circulation. In particular, Nongshim expects to reduce the annual use of printing ink by more than 5 tons.
