Seongnam City’s 6 Companies Win 'Innovation Award' at World's Largest CES
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 11th that products from six local companies received Innovation Awards at 'CES 2022,' the world's largest information technology (IT) and home appliance exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
This exhibition, held for the first time in two years due to COVID-19, featured 2,200 companies from 150 countries showcasing their flagship products.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, comprehensively evaluated the design, technology, and consumer value of products from participating companies and selected the Innovation Award winners.
The products from Seongnam companies that received Innovation Awards include ▲Total Air Care by Bluefeel Co., Ltd. ▲Smart Baby Bottle by Little One Co., Ltd. ▲AI Smart Baby Crib by Emma Healthcare Co., Ltd. ▲AI Autonomous Companion Robot MyCat by Macroact Co., Ltd. ▲Airbag Belt for Elderly Fall Prevention by Safeware Co., Ltd. ▲and AI Disinfection Guidance Robot by Hills Engineering Co., Ltd.
These products were recognized for their technological excellence in the fields of health & wellness, accessibility, and robotics, respectively.
Among them, Macroact Co., Ltd. participated in CES for the second consecutive year to showcase its technology.

A Seongnam city official stated, "Six companies received Innovation Awards as 16 local companies presented their flagship products at the CES Eureka Park and the Integrated Korea Pavilion," adding, "We will strengthen follow-up support such as domestic and international promotion and buyer consultations to expand overseas market access."
