'Saengaechoecho Yugwonjayeonmaeng' Endorses Yoon Seok-yeol, People Power Party Candidate
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Young members of the ‘First-Time Voter Alliance’ who will be voting for the first time in their lives in the upcoming 20th presidential election have declared their support for Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party.
On the afternoon of the 10th, they held a press conference at the Gwangju Metropolitan Council, emphasizing the fact that it is their first vote under the name ‘NEW Voter’ and expressed their intention to support candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, who will create a fair and sensible Republic of Korea as their first presidential candidate.
The youth stated, “The young days of Yoon Seok-yeol as a university student were a life that did not know giving up, and his stance against the living power resembles how the current MZ generation makes fearless judgments and cries out about the national situation. His life journey and actions are different from politicians who only make refreshing remarks to win young votes, and he is the candidate who best understands and practices the MZ spirit.”
They continued, “Currently, young people are suffering from lost youth due to COVID-19, human rights violations caused by misguided desk policies and the vaccine pass system. Moreover, the economic difficulties of parents are a sad reality for the younger generation, so we support candidate Yoon Seok-yeol as the only candidate who will lead change and restore daily life.”
Additionally, they emphasized, “We are not interested in progressives or conservatives. We need a leader who will bring fairness, common sense, and change what is wrong. We want a Korea where we can work anywhere, a fair Korea where we do not feel social deprivation, and what we desire is a harmonious life in reality, not politics.”
