Hyundai Department Store Mia Branch, which has continuously participated in community contribution projects that return part of corporate profits to the local community, announced that despite management difficulties caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, it decided to support the warm winter fund of 3 million won to deliver a message of hope to families in crisis and to spread a culture of sharing.
Branch Manager Seongkwon Oh stated, “I feel honored to be able to share love and comfort with low-income neighbors who are facing greater difficulties than us due to COVID-19,” explaining the purpose of the donation.
Gil-eum 2-dong Chief Byungkwon Ahn said, “Despite many difficulties in the local community due to COVID-19, we deeply appreciate the warm act of kindness, and the donated fund will be used carefully for neighbors in need within the community.”
The warm winter fund of 3 million won will be directly provided to 30 low-income families in crisis in Gil-eum 2-dong who are experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19.
Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Sungkyun Jeong) delivered smart devices to teenagers struggling with online classes together with the Gangnam-gu Academy Association at the district office main building on the 10th.
