[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Kim Joil) announced on the 10th that it will conduct a simultaneous surprise inspection of multi-use facilities in the province.
This surprise inspection is part of the winter fire safety measures and spring fire prevention measures, and will be carried out simultaneously every month by the Fire Headquarters and 18 fire stations until April.
The targets are large marts, department stores, movie theaters, lodging facilities, medical facilities, transportation facilities, etc., which are frequently used by an unspecified large number of people.
Through the surprise inspection, they plan to check ▲closure or locking of emergency exits ▲placement or installation of obstacles in evacuation stairs and passages ▲management status of fire doors and fire shutters ▲normal operation status of fire facilities.
If any violations are found, measures will be taken and a fine of up to 2 million won will be imposed.
